I'll have to take then post pictures of the Red Green style repair made to the MaxIV so Dave could keep riding all weekend. The Attex Lil (monster) truck died Saturday morning. I'm guessing a broken input shaft in the T-20.
On the other hand, the blue MaxII with the 40 horse Kohler that I always drive nice and easy (yeah right) is still going strong.....aside from de-beading tires any way.
Got to drive the Mudd-Ox springer.....WOW is that thing big. In and out of some of the mud holes that stand the MaxII on end, barely tilts that long wheel base. I wouldn't call it a "sporty" machine, but it is a work horse. I think Matt WAS trying to break it just to see what the week link was. LOL
I hope some one got some video, I am chomping at the bit to see a suspended Mudd Ox in action.

we all sit around the campfire and shot the bull. Had little problem some people got some quads stolen, can't wait till the next ride, everyone have a great day, Locolouie
P S wish more people could have made the ride, but for all who did thank you ,have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and may God bless you and your families through out the year

I had a great time as well. Very fun place to ride and glad the weather cooperated. It was fun to watch some of the bikes and quads just stop and watch us and then come over and ask all the usual questions. For some of you reading if you've never been to an organized ride and think you may want to try you won't be disappointed. It's always a good time and the comradery is great as well.
What it lacks in ground clearance it makes up for with traction.

Just a word of warning to everyone else....if Louie starts to tell a story about a vasectomy....RUN away. It will haunt your dreams worse than a Stephen King novel. lol

I mentioned earlier about a Red Green style repair that kept us riding .....here's some info on that: http://www.6x6world.com/forums/gener...tml#post178912

I think the video turned out pretty decent. Mikey, Seth, and I didn't think about us having the camera all day Saturday and not filming the 6x6's. We have some great shots of the nasty mud though

Nice Video Nick. It seemed like every time that orange jeep showed up the focus of the camera got blurry and blue though.

Nice job on the videos. What a great time ! The suspended Ox was really cool too. I call it an amphibious rock crawler.

Yes indeed. The Mudd Ox with the suspension was definitely putting a performance packed show on. It looked like an unstoppable machine. Maybe a bit oversprung? I could see the suspension move but lighter duty springs would have given more articulation. Still that's the best footage of a springer in the mud that I think I've ever seen. Between that and the hydraulic drive it looked like the machine to beat on that ride.

I know they've been waiting for lighter springs to come in the mail. Testing like this is how you perfect the machine, Haspin was the home of the prototype.

Great video Nick, it shows a lot of the great terrain at Haspin.

That little MaxII was very impressive also. Anyone considering a new machine should take a long look at that 29 EFI Kohler. And the Maxxis sure trak tires had great traction.....too bad they have been discontinued. Why do the tire manufacturers keep doing that to us?
