It's about three and a half hours for us. I'm trying to talk the rest of the family to come up and watch the boys compete, so I will probably only be there for the day (no way to convince the wife & daughters that mud, tents, and two-stroke smoke makes a fun weekend).

I'll be bringing anything that'll run.

          (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

I'll be bringing the AMF Sur-trek... No more room after that's on the trailer.

Still a few things to fix on it but it now has a NOS 2Si 215 20hp in it.

Still doing body work and correcting the steering linkage. Still looking a little rough.

Who's going up Friday? I was thinking about it.

Been working on the Surtrek, getting it ready for Philipsburg. I put some Vampire Tires on it. Steers a lot better with the stiffer tires. I still need a new shifter cable, fuel tank and too finish some body work. All the major problems are done. Could use more power... A 400 or 440 JLO would be nice.

That's the air filter. Ended up cutting out a portion of the engine cover to get it to fit. I had to make some modifications. I didn't really want to cut the engine cover, but that was the simplest way to do it. Nice thing about Fiber Glass, I can always put it back the way it was.

                        Air filter

Thanks Joe. I never would have figured that one out. Yes,fiberglass does give you flexability and getting it running is important. good luck.

It looks like there may be a really good turn-out at Allport Speedway in Philipsburg for '08. I've heard rumors of some wild machines and new competitors, so if you're on the fence about it, this may be the year to make the trip.

                            ALL IN!!!!

Well, missing Ledges this year got me so mad , I have to make this. Plus it's closer. I would have liked to see Whipper's springers, but I hear George's springer will be there, and a LOT of guys (And gals) have helped me out on this site, and I've really got to meet some of you !! I will be bringing the WW 295 (Duh, it's my only machine.) and hope to get Jimmy to bring his MaxIV. Especially since he has the truck and trailer, otherwise I gotta get buisy on an old boat trailer I've been meaning to convert. Oh, would I be disowned if I also brought one of those things that have only 4 wheels and don't float?
