Kris and I went to Smithfield, the Neuse never even threatened to over flow the banks. For those who know BB, when you are heading to BB, there is a bait shop and fuel station, it is about 2-3 feet deep in water. Not that it matters, but will not be able to do a makeup run for a while. I put off the surgery until after the get together, so a makeup for us would not be until late November. Nothing serious, but has to be taken out. Life is grand. Will keep the updates coming, for those who want to come at a last ditch hope that this will happen.

Picture is worth a thousand words. Photos look kind of familiar. Does not look promising. Thanks Scott

wow.. it would really have to come down fast to be able to ride, and that does'nt even include all the buildings, electric, etc. we will have to see if gathering is possible later and who could show up . j.b.

Thanks for the updates guys. Saw those pics from Fox news on BB facebook. The girl who works the desk says there are hoping to be open. Going to have to wait and see. Personally, i can't make it a different weekend, i have Jon out of school those days and not sure about work schedules so if they are not able to open by that week i am going with plan B whatever that is.

Glad to hear its not serious Ralph. Hope to see you in a couple weeks, fingers crossed

thanks rick... i guess the water could recede enough that atleast they would be open but maybe with limited facilities. if we do get to go we all know it atleast won't be '' dry and dusty '' !!! keep us posted on plan b . johnboy

I hope they would at least be able to open, this fall meetup is over my fall break and would be easier for me to make it then. We'll see I guess
