Best time ever, even with all the breakdowns and foot deep peanut butter mud. I was very pleased with the Kubota performance until the motor plate decided to rid it's self of all four legs. I'd probably be there still riding, but too big of a repair, no quick fix.
Thanks everyone for a good time getting muddy.

Mud was awful, I spent the first half of my day pulling out machines, I had heard that that Ralph's Mudd Ox was Badly stuck I drove into that area to see if I could help, it was as bad as every had stated, getting to any of the stuck machines was nearly impossible. Seems that the Mudd Ox Wasn't really stuck, it was sitting at a 45 degree angle and couldn't get any fuel. Once Ralph and his wife waded through the mud and got the Machine fueled with diesel Ralph got the machine fueled and started, The mud was awful and I didn't believe that machine could possibly move. I must say that I BOW TO THE MUD OX, IN MUD SO BAD THAT ANY OTHER MACHINE WOULDN'T BE ABLE TO SPIN IT'S TIRES OR TRACKS RALPH EASED ON THE FUEL AND THAT MACHINE BEGAN TO MOVE. I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT!!!!! ABOUT AN HOUR LATTER I THREW A TRACK AND HAD TO CUT MY DAY SHORT because I injured both my left leg and right shoulder. The simple job of reinstalling a track became a big issue with the injuries. Both my son and I were injured, and the Grand kids were whining so we called it a day-see you next time.Last edited by mightymaxIV; 10-12-2020, 06:48 PM.

Well Busco did not disappoint. There was plenty of stop and go action to be had for all types of machines. The area around the power lines was a graveyard for both wheeled and tracked machines with just about everyone having to be towed out one way or another. The mud there this time turned any tire into a slick ceasing any forward action in short order. Combine that with good trail riding 24hrs a day and you know why we head to Busco. Many times you would see fellow riders in the distance, but trying to work your way over to them without getting stuck would take forever.

Rick,
Be sure to let us know approximately where you end up. As fun as it is to take a tour of the camping areas, turning a trailer around in some spots could be difficult with the crowds. See y'all soon!

JohnBoy, Quit scarring the members. Our weather men normally don’t have a clue. For example about a few months back we got over 3 inches and the weather men didn’t even know it was coming. By the way where are you fair weather members camping?Last edited by Deedeelin1; 10-05-2020, 05:49 PM.

I greased all my bearings, changed the engine oil, and lubed the chains. I just need to change the transmission fluid and we will be ready to rock.
We plan to arrive Friday afternoon/early evening with bells on.
