  • Busco Beach in NC, April 9-11, 2021

    CANCELLED (Well DeeDeeLin was there)

6X6 World semi-annual Spring trail ride at Busco Beach Off Road Park in Goldsboro, NC! Come ride with your fellow members and get to know the face (and six wheeler) behind the username. This is a great offroad park for AATVs.

Most people will arrive on Thursday night late or Friday morning early and stay through Sunday or Monday. If you haven't been on a ride and there is any way you can make it, I encourage you to come out and ride with some other AATVs even if just for a day. Here's the info:

    When:
    April 9-11, 2021

    Where:
Busco Beach off road park in Goldsboro, NC.

Here is a Google map of Busco Beach so you can see how far it is from where you live: Map of Busco Beach

Here is a link to their website: Busco Beach

    They offer:

    - A mud pit
    - Several ponds
    - A drag strip
    - MX Tracks
    - 1800 acres of trails
    - Bath houses with bathrooms and showers
    - A concession stand during the day

    Cost:
    $5 entrance fee per person
$10 per ATV that you bring

    Primitive Camping - $5 a night
    RV camping w/ hookup (30A) - $25 a night

    What's Required:
The park requires riders to wear helmets unless you have three-point or greater roll-over protection. This requirement applies whenever you are in your ATV and it is moving. This means as long as you have a roll cage, you do not have to wear helmets. On any ATV without a roll cage or on any ATV with just a roll bar, the riders must wear helmets.

Mud Bash is 4/26-5/2 so this will avoid the big crowds. This weekend is the one after Easter weekend.

We will be arriving on Thursday this time and with any luck, two 6 wheelers.

Great Date. Losing my space that I have had for years is causing us to say, where are we going to park our camper. I guess we will find somewhere that is are new BB Spot. Thank You Drew

Drew,Sir. Just downloaded the 2021 schedule for BB. It is on gallery. That way you know when to not schedule on Fall Bash. My space was turned into a permanent space, OH WELL.

Thank you Ralph. I saw the 2021 schedule after I posted the dates. I had looked at a few previous years to see when they usually do Mud Bash and figured these would avoid it altogether. Also, that preceeding week is spring break for my kids' school so we will be able to come down earlier. I was figuring the same might apply to others.

JohnBoy, NO TENTS FOR DeeDeeLin, She sleeps on a Queen or a King. Just for information Busco Beach is again flooded. Closed until the Neuse River goes down. We got 7 to 10 inches of rain. My back is almost OK again. Tomorrow I start cleaning the OX, BB did a number on my back. Warning ⛔️ Never get old.

Just thought I'd put this out there,
The Cheney's will not be attending spring Busco this year as we have decided to do the mountains in Tennessee.
Hope you have a great time and we will see you in the fall, it will suck not starting off the year seeing everyone .

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
                    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

I'm sure you boys will do a fine job and have plenty of stories to add to this thread, the park will not know the difference.
                        Now if deedeelin didn't show......
