  • Saddle Up! (Carolina Adventure World)

Allright, Carolina Boys, it's time to ride again! I know that this month is probably booked up for everyone. So, let's pick a Saturday in January to go to Carolina Adventure World. I'm open every weekend except the last Saturday(Tucker's Birthday Party). Give me some feedback so we can pick a date.

I deleted all of the "Planning" posts so we could talk about the ride today (Jan 24, 2009).

      Caw ride

Well we all should be home by now or close to it. Want to thank Mike,Jennifer,McCoy,Brian and our new member that rode with us today.
(John-atvrider93) (want to see that scrambler at Busco)

Weather held out and we all had a great ride. Mike, Jennifer and I started out the morning and then McCoy, Brian and John arrived around noon. There was quite a bit of action to film and take pictures of. There was serious mud here folks. Brian brought his Attex down and it ran like a champ. All machines ran well and we had no break downs. I think but i am not sure there were at least two records set today. Mike's video may verify this one way or another.

There was quiet a few people interested in the AATV's. Most had never seen a Max or Argo, but what is a ATTEX? Brian received quiet a few comments on his machine. It kinda stood out from the rest of the machines I definitely could spot him in the woods.

Thanks to all that came i had a great time and look forward to the next ride.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

        (6) Attex, a Hustler, a Super Swamp Fox, (2) Tricarts, (3) Tri-sports, a Sno-co trike, 3 Dunecycles, and a Starcraft! ...so far

I had a blast but I'm beat. As always, it was great riding with you guys. I just uploaded some pictures to the gallery. I will hopefully have video up in the next week. As Lewis mentioned, Jennifer did set a new record today, she blew TWO beads at the same time on opposite sides of the Max IV. The best part is that I got it on video.

Here's the album for today's ride: Carolina Adventure World Jan 24, 2009

            Thanks for a great time.

I don't think anyone would argue with that.

                    Great pictures Mike.
I should have some up today. Started on them last night but kept dozing off at the computer. Can't wait to see the double bead knock off video. Jennifer did great her first time out. These were some challenging and very difficult trails. Kudo to you Jennifer!

I too was impressed with Race's machine. That is one tough little rascal. It brought a lot of interest from the quads.

Was a good showing from 6x6 world members and as always i am looking forward to the next ride, no matter where it is.

                      Hey Mike,

Did you have the new engine in for this trip? If so, how'd it perform?

                            tow a quad

note Mike's reverse driving skills as he comes up the hill with a quad in tow!

i'm using windows movie maker, and can't seem to get music imported... if anyone can tell me what i'm missing it'd be much appreciated, plus my movies would be a lot better
