Ashtabula Track time and trail ride in October 2009

Hi Everyone,

I have been talking with Bud and he has invited us back to the track this October!!! The plan is to have open trail riding Friday and Saturday. Bud will open up the track Saturday for open track time. There will be no offical races or classes. Just go out on the track and have fun!!! Bud would like some feed back on the dates and pricing. Would the 1st weekend or the second weekend in October work best for most? Bud is thinking about $25.00 per person 6 and under free. This will include the entry fee and the camping. Please post your thoughts. After review the date will be set next week.

I think there's something in the works for the 2nd weekend in October at Busco Beach in NC. I think I'd like to get more time in on that track but I'd also like to go to Busco.

hi matt rob here . the 2nd weekend in oct we will be at buso beach for the carolina boys and girls . fall ride so a copel weekends after that would be good . jest a suggestion .. you are more than welcom to make it down and ride with us . robbie .

We will try our best to make it. The Ribits Riders Halloween ride is Oct. 24 so it would be great if it wasn't that weekend.

Too many rides, too few 6x6's! That doesn't seem to happen in San Diego though. We might have to travel north to Pismo beach or the old west town this fall.

With the other rides in place for October and one in November should I tell Bud to wait for the spring 2010? After the fun we all had this spring I really thought there would be more interest. Everyone please speak up so I can let Bud know.

I spoke to Bud recently to get opinion on project drawing i had sent. He said ok for staying, riding on Sunday as well.

I'd love to get on that track again this fall.

It's hard to believe that we have so many other things going on. Used to be there was only 1 or 2 AATV events a year.

I'd love to get on the track this fall, too. The problem is that few of these dates (Ledges, Busco, Ash...) are set in stone, and it's difficult for some of those to request the time off on shorter notice. I'd love to make all three. Put my hat in for Ashtabula, Matt. I'll make it down for a couple days.

Speaking of which, *ARE* the dates for Busco set in stone? it's only two months away, and I'd like to start planning my fall...

P.S..... I forgot about Phillipsburg, too.... there's usually a great turnout for that event as well....

I'm pretty sure that that dates are, Oct. 8,9,10,11 and 12.
