Trails
OK... from when i was there last year by a person that had an Avenger that lived there,..said that the trails were off limits to us. You have to purchase a sticker and they could not buy on because of the width of the machine. Watching the video i inserted i see no problem with this. They may have been just mistaken.
The fine is if you do not have a sticker....but if you do not tell them what you have and you buy a sticker.
Yes it is a awesome place to ride. I rode on the trails which were not the H/M trail for hours and didn't cross the same trail. These were logging trails.
Before i would spend the time driving up there and being disappointed once there, i would call and confirm this fact.
Loved every minute of the ride and these were un-kept logging roads
If they would let us and maybe they have changed their minds,This would be a awesome outing!!!!!
If you find out anymore on this matter please let us know. We were riding trails around the Beckly coal mine area.

Yes we rode on the road and that was really weird. I now see on their site they have a picture of a Razor.
I am game for this adventure!!!! By 2011 they want to have 1,000 mile of trails. Could get a little saddle sore. Who is interested in making a trip like this? This would be a blast
Just don't want to run into anyone with green teeth
LewisLife should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Interested in group Ride
Is there any interest in maybe setting up a group ride at this Hatfield/McCoy trails. If so i will do some checking. Fellow member Gromet seems interested, is anyone else by chance? This would be a great place for an adventure. They are open 365. On my last post i included a video that explains some of the info for this area.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Regarding width, yes the ATV rules/laws require 50 inch max, HOWEVER, the new rules regarding UTV's do not specify the width and some of the new UTV's are up to 60 inches wide. The UTV's- which is the class we fit- are approved for the easy and moderate level trails.

Did you see the video Gromet? That is where i picked up that the rules had changed when i saw the side-by side machines. This would make for a great group ride.
What is you location Gromet? West Virginia is not far from the Carolina boys home base.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

And they always seem to have a great story to tell about them.they all run 4 wheelers.
Marshall are you familiar with the jump off points? Sounds good. I don't think that we should try to go for the toughest trails. Mid range should be where we start. Just my thoughts. On the hardest trails a is required.Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
