I plan on attending but I believe the ride is on the 5th(Saturday); not the 4th which is a Friday. Is this correct???

Hey Drev, you are right it is the 5th of Dec. It is a great time at Rick's whether in the spring or the fall. For those who might know Rick by another name, it is "AAA".
Looking forward to meeting some new fellow 6x6 and 8x8 owners.
          Cheers,

          Al

Hey folks, what type of tires would I need for this ride?
What kind of customs documents will we need? I have a passport so that's no problem, but what type of ATV stickers/permits are needed?
            thanks...

              Private Property

Plum, Rick's farm is all private property, as far as I know you don't need to bring anything, as you won't be riding on public property. We always have a great time and Cam and Rick's/Family are great hosts.

As for tires RHIII's or any type of Argo/Max tire will be fine, everyone usually gets stuck, that's what AAA Argo Towing is for, LOL. I understand Chuck will be there with his ASX equipped Mudd-Ox and maybe a few other surprises.

Everyone is welcome! Come on all you Michigan guys its not that far. Here is what the spring ride looked like.

Same question as Plum. As I will be comming from the US does anyone know what if any documents I will need to get over the border with the machine on a trailer? As far as an ORV permit that is nice that we wont need one for the private property.

I would think that all you would need is some type of proof of ownership whether that be a title or ownership document. I have never taken my machine across the border but maybe some of the Canadian forum members that have attended the Ledges ride in Ohio could answer your question better.

                    Bill of Sale

Been to Ledges, all you need is proof that you own the vehicle. It can be an ownership, title, license docs, bill of sale etc. Most of the time they are so interested in the vehicle they don't even ask for docs.

Been the other way as well, bought a Max in Mi, and had no problem getting it across.

This looks like a fun get-together. Wish I could make it.

Ok I talked to both customs. Comming back to the US is easy you just need to stop on your way over and fill out form 4457 and have a CBP stamp it. Getting in Canada is another story. You have to show proof of ownership. Basicly the only way I could figure to do that is to either title and or register as a watercraft.
