These kits are really cool and were engineered by a forum member. I think if you search you'll find video of them doing everything you ask about except maybe running with tracks. I also don't think anyone has built one for an 8 wheeler yet.
I hope to try tacks on mine in the spring but only to see how it works, I think the tracks would slow me down too much.
Try the following in the site search engine
Yellow Spider
Max Springer
Apache
Scorpion
Orange Crush
Goliath
Godzilla
Copperhead
Gila Monster
Also, check out "Argo Springer." That one is from a different kit and built by a guy in Canada.

amazing machine in the video...just amazing. What type of power and engine do you have?
Those springers are sweet.
Do they still float and swim? I'm curious about the capability of them swimming and in mud etc. Any video of swimming?
Can you put tracks on them? Any video if there has been tracks on them?
Has anyone done an 8x with suspension?
Hope to see more videos
Thanks for posting that one!

t-20 failure
well just got back from the GLAMIS dunes and only drove GOLIATH for 1 day.
went out to oldsmobile hill and pulled that hill about 6 times, since i put that 780 driven back on, it pulls awesome, no problems up big hills. BUT heard a loud scrunching noise
and limped it back to the R.V. and it looks like it took out the input shaft neddle bearing.
so i'll pull it down later and find out what happened. the bearing and shaft were just put in before the april run of this year. so maybe it can't handle the W.F.O ?
