I finally got to watch these. What a beautiful place to ride. And I don't think George was stuck two videos up, it looked like he was just digging for treasure at the top of the Razorback.
Whipper was gracious enough to entrust his newest addition to the hands of a rookie in the Dunes...what was he thinking
Godzilla was a blast to drive, loads of power for hill climbing and was a very comfortable ride. This is the first Max IV that i have driven. I have chased one at Carolina Adventure World(RDR's wife running down a hill backwards while setting up for a group shot...on a hill) but never driven one until this ride. The perspective is totally different in the Max verses the Attex...i feel like i am driving a bus sitting so close to the front of the machine. Don't get me wrong this is not a bad thing it is just different. I am quiet comfortable driving a bus since i drive a Argo Avenger which is probably about the same length or close.
George and i all fell out of some of the hills because of just....lack of experience and i am safe to say that, but as the day went on we got a little better. There is a learning curve to this type riding just as there is a learning curve to riding in mud. Hope to make it to the Dunes again next year and do it all over again.
Bridget was a real trooper, where do you find a gal that will run around out in the dessert with a bunch of guys running up and down dunes In my book she is one tough cookie
PS: Whipper and Joe were great guides on this most excellent adventure ride so thanks to you guys!
Have 3 more videos to post so there is still a lot more footage to bring out.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"
Don't know why, but when you watch this on You-tube, it's not all jerky like it is when I post it on the site. Does anybody know why?
Is it still that way on your end? I just watched it and it played the same on both. It may have just been a buffering issue. Let me know if you are still seeing the same problem.
I can't get over the dunes and sky. The sand looks so clean and the sky is clear blue. So nice.
I noticed that when you watch it on Youtube, it defaults to a lower resolution. Could be that it's just loading slower here because it's running a higher quality picture.
Just got a chance to watch the videos.........WOW!!!! IT was like doing it all over again. I find myself wanting to hit the gas and move the stick again! Those Dunes just kept coming!!! What a Rush
