Great pictures from the ride. I know the videos will be great!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

I will post sum pictures tomorrow of the welds. I made up a new solid shaft today and will try to weld it to the hub tomorrow if I can get out of work on-time.
To be fair, had they prepped it properly and Welded it up solid with many passes, it still would have been too brittle at the weld, though It would probably have lasted longer. As you know, they're not hard nor expensive to make, and that's the only fix.

I too am looking forward to some videos. Someone did take some I hope? Hopefully see some soon!

You guys were definetely "working the sticks" in the coal mine. That was sooo much fun to watch. Play, play, play, play, play. Good ride.

You got skills, George. Sooner or later one of your videos is going to stink. It's just got to.

George, Great job with the video. It really helps to give everyone who could not make it some idea of the conditions of the area we ride in and great time we all had. Appreciate you taking the time.

Country. are you thinking maybe a winter ride? Or a spring ride? I really am bummed I couldn't make this one, and really want to have both a 6-wheeler AND a vehicle capable of transporting it ready for the next ride, since it really isn't all that far.

winter rides are fun but if you have to drive a decent distance i would say its more fun in the spring when the water is flowing

While I would not mind a winter ride, I would bet there would be a better spring turnout. It'll give me time to straighten things out. Of course if a Jan/Feb ride happens and tracks aren't a necessity then I'd shoot to make it. (Of course I've missed everything I've shot to make lately )
