  • November AATV ride at river run atv park

Sorry , while trying to merge several videos from different threads I accidentally deleted the original thread here in the trail ride forum.

These are the videos originally posted by Mudbug taken at river run atv park from November 20-21st with member Noel Woods.

Sorry again for deleting the original thread.

I am very impressed with that ASX equipped Super swamp Fox! That was some very bad mud that machine walked through.

These are three more video,s that were taken at the november aatv ride that we had at river run atv park in Texas. These video,s were taken on the left side of the swamp ,and the video,s that were taken on the october ride at river run park , were taken in the center of the swamp. The next time that we have a ride there I,ll shoot some video footage in the right side of the swamp. This is a very big swamp! I deleted one of the video,s that I,m posting now because of the poor video quality. I found out what I did wrong with that one by using a different video editing program ,and uploaded it again on youtube. The other video that I,m posting now has some additonal video footage in it, and also a whole lot better video quality.

That big Mudd Ox makes the swamp seem like a children's playground. I can verify that was a tough patch of flooded gumbo. The stance of the Mudd Ox really got it thru in areas where other vehicles bogged. The v-bottom really helped as well.

My Mudd-Ox has 13.5 inches of ground clearance down the center of its V bottom, and with the addition of the Adair tracks the tub clearance increases to about 13 3/4 " inches ! The V bottom tub really helps split the mud when you drive through it. With the massive torque it puts out, and all this ground clearance too, I,ve yet to find a mud hole at river run park that I could,nt drive through. I was also impressed with the wide stance of your Super Swamp Fox with the ASX tires on it. A lot of times I,d look back behind me thinking that you,d be stuck in the deep rutts that my tracks had made, but as wide as your machine is ,and those really aggressve side lugs on your ASX tires, you just kept on comming! Of coarse that very torquey diesel motor helps a lot too!

super cool videos guys...that classic 6x6 is a beast the way that it is set up...makes you wonder what their 2011 model year machine would look like if they were still in the game...great job Noel...always impressed how handy many of you guys are when it comes to modifying these awsome vehicles...cant wait to come down and play again soon...

great job sharing this with all of us David...looks like your getting pretty comfortable operation the new 8x8...i think this was probably the first videos ive ever seen of your adventures in just blue jeans...do you have the old mud waders folded up somewhere in the back just in case :-) Mike and i got to go out and play all morning on the river here...we had our 6x6 480 frontier and the 09 muddox...both had tracks...had a blast...try to put some video on youtube later this week...

                        Obsessed

I,ve drove through every bad mud section and through all three of the swamp areas at river run atv park ,and have not gotten my Mudd-Ox with the Adair tracks on it stuck yet! I still keep my chest waders in the back of my Mudd-Ox just in case I ever do get stuck and have to wade through the water and mud to attach my winch line to some thing.
