  • Grand Island, NY ride.

A few of us got together for a winter ride on "The Island" yesterday. Bee-you-tiful day out. Bright sunshine, mid twenties, light breeze. A great day to play in the freezing water of Spicer Creek.

We had six machines come out in total. We made the hand-off of Li'l Six from Mark M. to me. At this point in his journey, the poor little dude has a multitude of addictions to illegal drugs, and is a member of at least three 12-step programs. There'll be nothing but hard work at Uncle Mike's little fella. There's a couple skid plates to install, several welding sessions, a couple bearing replacements, and Uncle Mike needs a lot of creative input on how to tackle some custom fabrication issues.

Oh yea Mike. Perfect winter riding weather. Great bunch of people. And of course the beer tasted great as usual.

There was a report that someone lost their cell phone on the trail

Sounds like Li'l Six may need an intervention soon.

Twenty degrees? Then every mug stayed a frosty mug.

The ride is really just a small group of folks that live within 10-15 miles of the riding area. Last time, we rode around for about 4 hours and had lunch and a few breaks to catch up with folks we don't see a lot. It'd be a 5 hour drive from Kerhonkson, but you could always show up!

Eric, are you having problems with the carb in your Kohler?
