MARDI GRAS UPDATE:
Mardi Gras is coming to River Run March 3-6, 2011
Event prices apply:
$40.00 per person with or without ATV
$10.00 RV Dry Camping
...Tent Camping is free as always.
Should be a great time.

All the cabins and RV sites have been reserved for this event. There is still plenty of primitive and dry camping.

Up date on the Mardi Gras ride! We are going to have: Races, Show-n-shine, ATV crank it up contest, treasure hunt, and LES BON TON ROULE RUN!
not to mention some good ole Cajun music and Cajun food!!! Its going to be a great time dont miss it!!!Friday night: Jo Jo Reed and the Zydeco band!
Saturday night: : Jo Jo Reed and the Zydeco band opening for the Wesley Pruitt Band

Im sure we will be having a blast and pulling out a few 4 wheelers too.
I checked with the park and the hole 3 days is $40. not each day. I know Myself ,Noel and 2 others are going and we hope to see others come on out and ride with us.So if you can make it speak up so we can set up a meeting spot.

Where is the park you speak of? I won't make it this time, as my Hustler is down for tires and some engine work, but if it's not too far I might be able to make the next ride.

The turn off for River Run atv park is just out side of Jacksonville,Texas. Its about a 11 mile ride on a winding country road to the park. Off of hwy 79 there is a big sign facing both directions telling you which farm road to turn on

Oh cool looks like a straight run down I-30 for me I'll definatly try to come next time. Can't this time, I've got to get new tires.

Mud creek is where the Mud Nationals are held each year, but River Run, atv park is better suited for amphibs. If you can,t make the ride this year, we,d love to have you ride with us next year.

I will for sure try to be there next year, I may also have an Argo by then(depends on wether its still in that field lol). I have heard of the Mud Nats, that would be a cool place to take an amphib, with all the 4 wheelers that are there lol. Won't be able to make that either, but hopefully next year I can come to both!!

That was an exellent video that you posted Eddie. In another couple of years, your 7 year old son JR will out do all of us in the mud pits because he,s so light. Jr drove Noel,s Max II with the 18 hp motor and 25 inch Mudbug tires , the Argo Bigfoot with the 18 hp motor with tracks, and the Argo Avenger , 31 hp ,tracks and with the Admiral transmission. Out of all the machines that JR drove that weekend, he told me that the 8-wheel Argo was the most fun to drive. I,m very sure that JR,s choice of machines to drive had a lot to do with the new Argo steering transmission , because its such an improvment over a regular skid steer transmission.

It was a good time. Nice cool riding conditions, with all kinds of mud. In fact we had so much fun we didn't shoot much video, imagine that.
