Dan i talked with him today also and he wanted a deposit of $420 to hold our spots and i told him i wasn't doing any such thing. I just guess-tamated the number by the sign up and that would be what came. There are lots of area for us to lodge there and if the first one gets there he just starts the merry go round. Let's not get into a panic we will all be together and have a great time. The new owners just have to get to know us.

Basically it is all the same, but they are new at this. When i told him we would all be staying for Friday, Saturday and some Sunday the big "Tilt" light went on. He was a little more than confused and the conversation was still on a high note but in a state of confusion so i ended it there. Now the person i talked with was just the "Desk Guy" what ever that means but he was not the owner. Crowded or not we will have the rule of the woods as always and no one will bother us there.

Like Dan said to be on the safe side since he knows NOTHING about these machines better bring helmets until we get these small issues ironed out.

Just a week away so get ready to have a great time guys and girls.

I just got off the phone with the new owners..

Things are going crazy there. They need to know an exact number of attendees asap, who needs hookups and campsites. They informed me they need deposits to hold spots from now on as they are doing twice the business they used to do. They were already book solid for this weekend back on Wednesday. The new owners asked for me to call them back on Monday, he is slammed atm.

Expect helmets to be required unless you have a roll bar!

edit: Just got a call back from the new owners.. If you have signed the waiver before you will not need a helmet. I'd still bring them just in case.

The new owner asked me to call him back Monday to give him an exact count of:

Number of Machines
Number of primitive camp sites
Number of RV Hookups

Lets get this done ASAP.

Busco Sold

Ok Guys, Busco has been sold! There is no racing on the race track as far as i can get info out of the guy at the desk. Better bring helmets just in case and the first ones there need to lockup the usual site. It will take a little bit to get acquainted with the new owners. Prices seem to be the same but check out the new home page. Don't know what happened to cause the sale or even when it happened. New people seem nice enough, just got off the phone with the desk guy.

Best chance of rain is the Wednesday before we arrive. Just a 10% chance Thursday & Friday with highs in the mid to upper 70s. Perfect weather if you ask me.

Needed to add that I started my vacation today. I'll have the Conquest primed and I even have time to get the Hustler almost ready.

Hey lewis how many times is freq42 coming. I took him off #17 and put swift on because freq42 was already #13. I know its hard to read 13 and have it not say racerone3, but unfortunatly he had to grow up and get a big boy job that wont let him come play with us kids no more.

I will be pulling up stakes and leaving sum-time this Saturday to go down to Alabama & see my dad then Thursday threw Sunday mudding with you all. the biggest treat for me is my X-girlfriend from Colorado is flying out to join me there & to have fun, may we not get hit again by the big winds like last year.
If my math is right we are looking at 35+ people and 25 or sow machines, wear going to have a ball. see you all there.
