  • Ride and Repair (Pre Busco) shakedown day at my shop in WNY, Sun 4/15

    Lockport, NY.
Anyone in the area is welcome to stop down to work on and/or ride their machines.
I will be there all day sunday.
PM me if you need the address and directions.
jpswift, amphibious drew and me (MAX IV Mark) are making the road trip to Busco with a truck and trailer loaded with AATVs. So its time for us to adjust those chains, grease and check all bearings, change fluids and make sure everything is ready to run hard. Feel free to stop down, it should be fun.

I am down and I will just leave my machine up there till busco. If anyone is nearby and has not been to marks shop, it is well worth coming out. Its full of some crazy stuff and last time we got the crane stuck.

We need to see if there is a way to fit 4 machines on his trailer so we can bring the new lil truck too.

I am going to follow down in my escape so we can take the cap off your truck and fill my car with supplies. If you got a cb ill throw mine on if not I got some 2way radios.

I've got a CB we can use. And good call on the Lil Truck......I think we'll have to bring it with us too. It's all set with all the new parts put on. I'm just waiting on the carb kit, which should be in tomorrow then we're set!

it's too bad I'm leaving the day before then, I do have room on my trailer though for 1 or 2 more machines depending on the size.

I posted some youtube video's of us prepping for the Busco ride. I'll post the first couple now and add to it as youtube populates them. They are nothing fancy, but I think JPswift found his calling as a fork lift operator.

Here is a little video of Mark in his Max IV with a brand new set of adairs and Jeff in his little truck. This is unedited so production value sucks.

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

That made loading easy. Taking the forklift with you to Busco for unloading?

Nobody stand on Jeff's left side if he wears that shirt. You have been warned.

                      Be safe. have fun.

It's always more fun when you can play with heavy equipment. Mark has a nice collection up at his shop. That'd be great if we could bring the forklift with us to Busco, but unfortunately when we're there it looks like we're going to have to load and unload the old fashioned way.

And Bridget, luckily everyone was able to avoid standing to the left of me that day, haha.

                        Thanks for the videos, Drew!
