Sorry to hear you won't make it, Eddie. We'll try to have more rides soon.

From past experience, I'd say we usually get to riding around 9-10am. It can take a little while to get everything ready and all amphibs gathered up when there is a group.

Post a "conditions" report when you get there and have a safe drive.

Well since I am probably the first one home from the 2012 Badlands ride I will post a couple of videos. The Badlands turned out to be a pretty cool place. It has almost every terrain type at this site. A simplified description of the park is it has an elevated center that is like a giant sand dune with a ring of woods around it filled with mud holes.

This is the Max coming down a very steep grade from the top dunes to the woods. The slope is a bit slippery as sand/gravel from the dunes has been carried down the trail. The woods was fun for the Max as there were numerous mud holes. On This side of the property the holes had pretty firm bottoms. Jason held the camera sideways to try and show the grade of the trail.

Cindy shot a little video of Jason and me going through a couple of the first mud holes we found in the woods of the park. These holes wern't very bad but we found a couple Jeeps stuck in them later. We expored by ourselves in the morning until the rest of the 6x6 world crew found us and showed us the real mud on the other side of the park. Brandon is sure to post much better videos.

                      Enjoy, Keith.

keith you were in and out of the park so fast, I did'nt even get to meet you. Maybe next time. my max gave me some enjoyment but was a pain just as much. I'll fix that problem.

Sorry for the quick exit. It was the first trail ride for my wife and she was very hesitant to go on anything but smooth level trails. After a disagreement where I told her she needed a golf cart she sort of warmed up to the fun. She enjoyed the mud the most because it was slower and she could get out to watch the fun. We will be there longer next time. Baby steps.

                          Keith.

I purchased the roll bar handles from an Ebay vendor. They say "Classic Quad Gear Extreeme" on them and they come in pairs. They strap and have velcro on them and seem to fit the 1 5/8 bar very well. Hope that helps, Keith.
