  • Replacing Regulator/Rectifier

    Hi Folks,

My Argo Magnum (18 hp Kohler) has a wonky regulator/recitifier - it has been working intermittently for a while. I'd like to change it. Does anyone know whether i need to remove the intake manifold to get it out. One bolt is easily reachable but the second seems to sit right beneath the intake/throttle body. How hard a job is it? I assume, if the intake has to come off i'll need new gaskets as well?

    Thanks in advance,

    Joey

Not sure how it comes apart, but look through the manual. I think that is 18hp Kohler Magnum:
