Thanks anotheramature. This is the first set of pipes I've tried to build. I made the pipes longer to lower the noise level and give the pipes a milder sound. The long intake runner that I made with the K&N air filter on the end gives both pipes a deeper tone.Originally posted by anotheramatureSounds good and looks goodLast edited by mudbug3; 03-05-2013, 05:02 AM.

Great sound!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

Yeah, if I can get the fuel mixture richer on my Nikki non adjustable carb, I plan to wrap each pipe with one inch , high temp, exhaust wrapOriginally posted by fmints View PostHey buddy,
I see that all of your hard work and researching paid off!!! Great job on the exhaust, absolutely!!!!! I think the black wrap will put the finishing touch on it!!!!

Don't take this the wrong way, but I think you almost have those mufflers sticking out to far. It looks great, sounds awesome, but I would be afraid of mashing the mufflers back against a tree. If it was mine, I would want the mufflers pulled in maybe another inch. NOT trying to be critical, I would just hate to do damage to something that took that much effort, and looks that good.

I wanted a deeper exhaust sound, but the main reason that I made this custom exhaust was to make my stock engine run cooler.
