loss of power

Went out today for a little fun and we where doing good but it seemed if I continue at high throttle for to long I start lossing power - throttle down to about half for a few moments then I can throttle up again for a little bit but then losses power - could this be carburator not feeding enough fuel? Running a Honda 20hp with float system carb. Checked the brakes and their not sticking.

sounds like a fuel delievery problem, ck the gas cap make sure its venting, ck fuel lines and filter, pull the plugs and read them, if its running lean they will be white if their tan their good

It could be the ignition overheating.
