  • Tecumseh 16 Hp. throttle linkage

Broke the throttle linkage on my Tecumseh 16 Hp. today. Tried to drill an new hole but was unable to drill through it. Myself and a friend broke of several bits and tried other things but was unable to drill a small hole for the linkage to hook up.

Just wondering if anyone had any ideas on ways to fix it or where to get a new one.

drill the threads out of a small nut and braze on to linkage will have a bit more meat than small washer. It wont be as hard but will last quite a while. if you had a small washer made with hardening drill rod it will harden when brazed. Stake the butterfly screws back when done, the raise hwith a piston when they fall out.
