So I got a argo conquest with the fd620d and was wondering could I put a slider carb on it instead of the butterfly carb. I am having issues with the shut off solenoid can I just take it off because the only way I can get it to start is to unscrew it so some fuel can get past it

The next time you unscrew ,take it out and cut the tip off. No more problem.

So I am guessing it really ain't need and thank you that's a lot easier then trying to find a lot that'll plug it up

It's purpose is to stop any back fireing.
