Hi Guys
I have a year 2000 Max II with a vanguard 18hp engine and a 2004 craftsman lawnmower with a 24HP Briggs engine. I don't need 24hp on my lawn mower(vertical shaft)and would like more power on my 18. can some one please tell me if this will work.
I would like to swap the heads and the carb from engine to engine and also install a high rev kit on the 18HP and also remove the exhaust restrictors on the 18. would this increase the Hp on my 18 and still allow my 24hp mower to work fine. I only mow 1 acre of flat land............errrrrr my wife does. If this will work it will be an awesome winter project.
