Starter engages during throttle up?

What would cause the starter to engage during throttle up. I get a rapping sound for a second or so during throttle up. I can see it engage for a second when I speed up. Any ideas on what would cause that?

Had a started do that when there was to much play in the armature. The vibration would walk the armature out and starter gear into the flywheel.

I get a real bad rapping sound when I throttle up. You can see the starter drive engage.

Finally found the problem. The wiring was wrong and causing it to engage during throttle up. I took it into a shop and they rewired my mess. I guess it's a lesson well learned not to have somebody wire that does'nt know what there doing. I guess live and learn.
