picked up a 1970 hustler 880 with a ccw400 over the weekend. The guy i bought it from said it was pull start only. I didnt think that sounded right, so i took a little peek, and wouldnt ya know it, theres a starter there. Got it home threw a battery to the starter motor, and its good, solenoid too! Now my problem, the plug on the rear of the engine makes no sense to me, and i cant find a diagram. I know how to wire the starter motor, but have no idea on the kill switch, or the charging circuit. Anybody got any info?

I think I have a diagram for the CCW, but I'll have to look. As a general rule: 2 yellow wires are charge circuit, brown is chassis ground, black w/white or red stripe is kill switch. The starter will be one wire from the switch momentary circuit to the small terminal on the relay.
Good LuckStuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.
