  • rotax 670

I have several of these engines that I use in my ultralight aircrafti have 1 that makes 150hp but a stock 1 produces around 90 hp with good pipe !there great engine does anyone run them?

I don't think I know of anyone that's running a 670 in a machine. That's a heck of a lot of engine for typical trail use, and not even many racers are running big liquid cooled twins. The BadA$$ springer, the Blackbird, Griffin's racer, Fischer's Springer, the Truway RIM, the McKay RIM immediately come to mind. There's barely enough track at Ashtabula to get any of these machines up to their potential.

I won't try to talk you out of it, but it's an engine best suited to a track setting. (which, is a fantastic idea....)

Damn millerperf...I sure would like to try one of those bad boys. Bet it could fit in the new RIM racer. Probably have to put a wheelie bar on back even tho the motor is down on the frame.

No way, Doozle. We need to keep you around for a while to make more sausage. At LEAST until you pass down the recipe.

C'mon you 2!!!!!!!!!!!! I need some fun in my "NOT SO GOLDEN YEARS" Sausage recipe is in good hands[MINE]. Now that the machines are holding together, thanx to little G, need some power with it. My son would have had you last year Hydro if all 6 tires had air and you know it.

If his tires came off on lap one and he was a half track ahead of me, I'd entertain the notion. I'd have to review the footage to see if there was a point in the race that he was ahead of me....

HA HA. his brother did it with his ...hole donut on his last lap the race before. He ran the whole race on 5 tires and stayed right with you. You DID beat him, but I'd love to see the 2 of you race head to head next year in practice.

I ran the race with about 3/5 of a fuel pump, if that counts for anything. The darn thing was cutting out every 1/4 lap or so, and after the rpms dropped a bit, the bowl would fill back up and I'd be off to the races again. We're all a bit handicapped out there one way or another. On another race, I debeaded a tire and your son, Nick O. and about 3 other folks passed me like a lightning bolt. It's a defeating feeling when that little thing costs you a race, and an amazing feeling when you finish and find out that the machine was barely holding together.

Only about six and a half months to go!

Glad to hear from you Mrs. Model [or is it Mrs. Citizen ?] How are you? Yeah, and it's only December. The way the two sons ran last year, I might be looking for a new ride, though.
