  • Nikki 6100

    I was going to clean the carburetor on my 93 vanguard, but I cant find any info online. Anybody have a manual or exploded view?

          Great thanks. That's a lot more than I have now. The large screw on the right side. I though it was the idle, but turning it had no effect? Any idea what it is?

            This is what I call the main jet needle of sorts, the plastic cap/cover is so you can't adjust it to the point where it would fail Gov emissions and will really do little when adjusted IMO.

              Here's a picture of mine. I just have a brass screw. Would the main jet be behind that?

                No, the main jet is behind that plug on the right side of that picture. that screw adjust the amount of vacuum that pulls fuel into the Venturi from the jet. there not like others where the main jet needle faces the jet. the early carbs had that brass screw like yours.
