  • Sachs SA 280 questions

I have what appears to be a good Sachs engine. (Turns over really nice, good compression, Etc.) The guy I bought it from sais that it ran well and then just stopped running so I figure it is something easy. It did not have a coil on it when I got it so I put one on and I have not spark. I want to get at the points but I am not sure how to get the fly wheel off. I know that a JLO needs pulled off but I want to know for sure before I break something.

I've never had a Sachs apart, but based on the on the exploded views here http://www.winderosa.com/Winderosa_S...s%20sheets.htm , I'd bet that disassembly would be about the same.
