Can anyone point me towards the post about turning a tapered crank down while it was still in the block. I've searched a lot of pages and can't find it. Thanks Mike

if you are trying to put a 1 inch clutch on it they make adaptors for the tapered shafts, I think I seen it on the golf cart websites. -
The adapter only works for the M30/1:10 tapered clutches on a 1" shaft but will not work on the Generator tapered engines. I have posted in the past that it is possible to recut the gen taper to the M30 in the block but I don't believe that I've seen a thread on the forum. to recut to the 1" straight shaft would need to be done with the shaft removed from the block do to the need to cut the keyway in a mill etc.
