  • What do you guys think this is worth?

Got this on a deal today. Was told it runs great. I have no clue. I know it wont work for our application (6x6) because the output shaft is too large. It's 1 1/8th. So, I'm going to try and sell or trade it for one that will work. I just have no clue what it would be worth.

It looks like a Kohler Magnum series engine. You could get an inch and an eighth clutch for it if you wanted to.

Well, here's my next question (don't anybody laugh too much) Can someone send me detailed instructions on how I can start this engine on the bench? I have no clue. If you don't want to use the forum space you could send it to my email charles.green3@yahoo.com

          Thanks

To safely bench start the engine, bolt 2 bolts from engine to bench, hook up a ground cable to engine from battery, hook starter solenoid up and wire in a starter button to small terminal on solenoid, wire on/off switch to positive side of the coil, engine should start and run unless it has a fuel shut off solenoid on carb.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
            Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
