My Attex which has been outside tarped for a while suddenly will only run with choke on. It has been rainy. I have looked at fuel tank in dark with a flashlight and can't see any water. Although it seems an intake leak is most likely, I have a suspicion it is moisture related. It runs decent with choke on and still has power and speed. Any ideas? My Argo has a similar problem also

What engines are you running, if it is a 4 stroke I'd say clean the carb. and if your gas is old change it out.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.

turveran, my max with the briggs vanguard has done that from time to time. happened at busco. we cleaned the carb, changed plugs and filter, gas line etc. still would not run without choke out. poured in a bunch of seafoam, drove around awhile and all of a sudden i had to put the choke in and it ran great. go figure. happened again a week ago. put in some sea foam, same results. johnboy va.Comment
