Vanguard 20hp intake and carb

Got a line on a used 20 hp intake and 2bbl carb but it is off of a vertical shaft engine. Is it possible to use these items on my 18hp horizontal vanguard. Figuring i'd probably need the elbows and such but not sure

I don't think anything carb or intake interchanges between the vertical and horizontal engines

Carbs and intakes are the same but You would need to buy the 90 degree elbows. There are part #'s in a post some where around here. If You want to still run the governor than its gonna be a bit of jaggin' around and not worth it IMO
