  • JLO 295 Question

Can I turn the jug around on a 295 so the carb is facing the front and the exhaust the rear? If I can do I have to turn the piston around also?

Does a domed piston need to be turned? I do know a flat top is directional.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
      Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

I'm pretty sure they all have to be turned with the jug. It depends on how the rings are positioned on the piston: if the ring openings cross a port opening, the rings break. Don't ask how I know.

I think its always best to keep a used piston in the same position in the bore
