Kohler kt 17, extreme angles

Hi , just wondering would it be a series 1 or 2 kohler kt 17 that's in my 1983 ic 8x8.
What sort of working angles can these engines stay lubricated at . I have some very steep terrain for climbing if it is fit for it .

I believe the series 1 has a coil with two plug wires and points. 2 has an internal mag with no points. The factory spec tilt angles are for continuos operation and I believe are about 25 degrees. Full of oil they are good to much greater angles than that.

Does the series 2 not have a coil and 2 plug leads as well , I'd presume it would ?
