  • Gauges for a Kawasaki

Which type of gauges do I need to buy for a 27 hp Kawasaki, model # FD750D-CS02. I'm planning on building a "proper" instrument cluster with:
    Engine temp
    Oil pressure
    Tach
And, a temp gauge to put in the T-20.
I don't know what the proper temp should be for the t-20 but I'd like to have a gauge there to give me the piece of mind that it is in a normal range. Where I use my max I don't often get much chance to get out into the "clean air", and run it wide open often. Most of my driving is very slow, driving over obstacles, deep on the thick woods where the wind doesn't often blow hard. So cooling may or may not be an issue for me. However, if I have a gauge to glance at then I'll know if all is well.

I would suggest a transmission temperature gauge be it mechanical, which is my personal favorite or an electric for convienence.

A volt meter would be a good addition as well and I don't know if that's a water or air cooled unit so no comment on temp other than good idea as you have it listed.

      Riot:
It's water cooled. I didn't mention the volt meter, simply since it already has a factory one that I plan to reuse. Can u recommend a particular gauge or brand to use?

Stewart Warner, Isspro, Auto Meter, Glow Shift all good gauges I suppose, I'm personally an auto meter fan. Pick something you can afford and has a good reputation is all I can say.
