Sounds good to me. I usually try for 4050 -4100 with belt on but some just won't do it with stock governor springs.

That's where I would put it. Now tune the primary clutch for 3600 RPM.

So I went out for a test run.
With the Chanel tracks in the snow wide open throttle in low I get 3300 rpm
        In high I get 3000
Bogs quite a bit when trying to turn in high? I'm assuming that's normal.
        But I don't really know.

I have my secondary in hole 2
Not sure what is all adjustable on the primary?

You need smaller weights in the primary. I would also move to hole 1 in the secondary - that will help with the bogging in turns.

Thanks for the advice, I never even thought of changing weights in primary.
I am going to hole 1 with secondary for sure.
Just never drive an Argo before, used to a 185 hp snowmobile geared down for torque.
I love the Argo though, almost go anywhere but would like to get more power when applying brake pressure to turn. Just seems to power out in the snow ( I'm in 10 inches of snow in a stubble field )
