I would like to restore an terra tiger. Would it be possible to install a 2 stroke engine into the terra tiger, and fire the engine in reverse when reverse is needed? Or would the drive line not except that.

Well, just wrapping a rope and spinning the flywheel of a 2 stroke opposite its normal direction should run in reverse. But I'm not sure the secondary clutch in a terra tiger drive trane would take that direction of travel.Comment

You know for what it would cost just in parts to get a Terra Tiger going, you could probably find a better functioning, all around superior machine, such as a Max2.
I love the old machines, but the T.T. is just one I wouldn't invest any effort in, and yes, I have owned one.Comment
