best engine for a terra jet

just bought a couple of terra jets that need engines,was wondering what size, manufacturer, etc. was best for them. thanks aj

If the original clutching is there, I would be tempted to stick with an old 2-stroke sled engine. I think they came with a 399cc kohler. However, the other cheap option would be a harbor freight engine. I wouldn't spend the money on a brand new Briggs for that machine, but those predator engines hf sells are a good bang for the buck.
