I was running a GX620 in an Attex. It's a great engine but mine was old and tired so right now it's out and waiting for a rebuild.
Stuck in the seventies- not in the swamp.

Don, are there any specs I should look for on that specific model? I may need to make the Rotax Max a bit more reliable. That looks like a neat engine. Assuming a standard 4 stroke clutch would work?

We're going to try a GX670 (kinda) in a Phil., member notfast has just converted his Attex as well ( sorry if it's toys4me ).

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
        Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

A GX670 would be even better. I'd rather have horses I don't need than need horses I don't have.

The Honda fits pretty well where a Briggs would, but may be a hair taller. I think you can get the 620 with either a 1" shaft or a 1 1/4", but either way you can get a clutch to fit. Mine was great for low end power and even though it was really tired, it had enough to push the Attex right along. I plan on putting it back in the Li'ltruck once it's done.
