20 hp carb and intake

Does anyone know the briggs part numbers for the 20hp carb and intake Im looking to swap out mine on the 18hp

Will the 20hp carb and intake work with the 14/16hp?

If I remember correctly, it will not. From my understanding, the 14 and 16 Briggs and Stratton vanguards are the same motor with different carbs, as are the 18 and 20. The carburetors on the 14 and 16 can be switched, as can the 18 and 20, but I don't think that the 20 carb can go on a 16. Some one may come along and correct me on that one though.

the 20hp two barrel intake will fit the 14 to 18hp

I myself would not spend the money on the elbow's and carb from briggs unless you can find it used, lot better stuff out there for about the same money.

Nice looking setup. What would you suggest other than the 20 hp carb/intake?

The Briggs two barrel carb and elbow are around $300, for fifty more you can have a mikuni with a accelerator pump and adapter that fits many different carb combo's, but it does need head room. the accel pump gives ya instant throttle response if that's what one is looking for and is easy to rejet. can also be mounted in or out of the valley
