    Hi Guys
Please can you tell me if the Briggs engines in the Max II 2001 model are a Tapered output shaft on the 16,18, etc Hp engines?

All Briggs were 1" straight with a key, threaded for retaining bolt.

Briggs made a few different tapered PTO's but they were not used in these machines, if it is tapered then its a transplant.

depending on what taper it is there are clutches out there that may fit it, i use tapered PTO vanguards alot with a CVT drive clutch
