  • Is this a Voltage regulator?

This is in my Argo 8X8 Conquest. I can't find anything that looks like most voltage regulators. I was wondering if this is it? If it isn't the Voltage regulator, can someone tell me what it is?

I'm not really framiliar with the kawa engines but to me it is not the regulator. It should be down by the fly wheel not on the brake master cylinders!

I believe your pic is the ignition module. A lot of conquests had regulator (rectifier) mounted inside firewall. Seated to drive it's directly in front of your right knee. I think some were also mounted on rear lower of radiator frame.

That box is the ignition igniter, looking at your picture I'm assuming you have an alternator kit, the plug in the top left corner with the orange and yellow wires hanging down is the wiring to the regulator. Look in area of plug on the firewall, check your belt tension if alternator equipped if not charging.

Also looks as if someone cut a wire on the battery (negative side?).
