Hey Curtis,
I'm running three of these GM-based one-wire alternators on different machines. In order to wire these to your existing electrical system, follow these detailed steps:
Step 1: Run a wire from the alternator to the battery terminal on the starter.
Step 2: Enjoy.
EDIT: I don't know how much room you have to work with in your engine bay, but I buy the physically larger remanufactured units from our local auto supply store for less than half what DB electrical is asking on the unit you posted. They tend to be closer to 65 amp output at 3,000 rpm or so, but the trade off, again, is that they're probably 50% larger than the above unit. If space isn't an issue, head down to the NAPA in Corner Brook and have a look at what they've got. Something out of a late 70s passenger car or pickup works fine.
Here's one in my 980.

Wire it up, unplug the fuse from the charging system and place it under the seat for any future emergency ( you can then simply plug it back in and charge normally from engine system) if the alternator fails, start and drive.
Making the mount will be the hardest part of this install/upgrade.sigpic
My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
Joe Camel never does that.
Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
