  • Jlo295 no spark

I've been trying to fire up my 295 prior to installing it in the frame. I can't get any spark, so far I changed the points, plug and I made a wire from 7mm spark plug wires that I had. Nothin'. I checked the old and new coil, and the problem continues.

Does the stator go bad on these often? Kinda puzzled.

    Thanks

Maybe your pickup coil is bad? or condensor maybe? I just changed points and condesors in a 440 rockwell for no spark issues and that did it!! Good luck!!

A condensor would sure do that, also did you connect the two wires when testing?

No, I did not connect the wires. I have the schematic, which two? Thanks.
