I have a JLO 340 that I would like to put in my St/300/D, bedside the mounting change, would the clutch need to be changed out?

I would think you are good to go provided the crankshaft taper is the same. You didn't mention if you had the L340 single or the 2 cylinder, the 2 cylinder may be more involving swap than the straight forward single swap.sigpic

It is a twin, I found it for a good price. The transmission is a Baker -Hill 5000, so hopefully it could handle it. Thanks.Comment
