2 stroke Compression check

Ok fellas do you just put the tester in plug hole and pull rope to check this or is there another procedure I should try?

I believe you are supposed to hold the throttle wide open thats how i have always done it. Pull it till the gauge doesn't go up anymore. Should only take about 6 pulls.

Yep throttle open. A 2 stroke with less than 90 lbs compression will be hard to start if at all.
