  • Kohler Command 20 Fuel Pump Question

I have a hustler with a Kohler command 20. Fuel pump is bad. It's built into the valve cover. eBay shows new valve covers with the fuel pump for 80-100. My question is, is do I need to buy a whole valve cover? Or does some one sell the fuel pump that I can screw on?
Have not taken the valve cover off to see the underside, has been raining and I don't water in the motor.

The only way I've gotten that pump is as a unit. Kohler usually supplies it with several fittings. Follow instal instructions on fittings or the o-rings get damaged. I don't know why but have not been able to find any repair parts for that pump yet.

Go on e/bay and look up a Cud Cadet fuel pump. The 2100 series had the Kohler engine in them. That's what I am using in my StarCraft.
I have seen Just the pump on there (new) for Less than the one with the V,cover.

The diaphragm inside is the same from the KT17 up, I did it on one giving me issues before I bought the cover, recently I found a kit on ebay but lost it.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
            Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
