Hesitates to Start

I have a 1999 Max II with 150 hrs. on it. Machine has a 18 hp. When going to turn key sometimes I have to turn once or twice for engine to start. Have new battery and all connections are clean and tight. Where should I look? Maybe a new key switch? Thanks for all your help.

If just a click or nothing in start position it's probably the solonid.
