Why is the top of the cylinder air shroud usually missing on JLO singles? Does it cool better without it? Thanks, Danth

The cover is classically a piece that goes missing for whatever reason. Find one or make one if you can; it directs the air stream from the flywheel fan across the entire width of the head and upper cylinder.
